Why is it important to protect our skin from the sun?
Sun is beneficial for both physical and mental health. Excessive exposure without adequate protection can however cause skin alterations such as burns, dark spots, premature aging and even cancer; in fact, 90% of skin cancer is attributable to sun exposure. The effects of sun exposure are cumulative and irreversible, and thus the importance of correct sun protection.
Oral sun protection
Although topical sun protection is essential, it is not always enough to protect the skin properly: the right amount might not be applied, it might not be applied often enough or to all areas, and even if applied correctly, it may not be sufficient to protect against all damage Oral sun protection can supplement topical sunscreen for more complete and effective protection.
Fernblock® is an exclusive standardised extract with photoimmunoprotective properties obtained from the tropical fern Polypodium leucotomos. ATTENTION
