Neoretin Discrom Control - Advanced Pigment Correction
Dark spots occur on skin areas when there is a build-up of melanin, the natural pigment which gives skin its colour. There are many kinds of pigmented spots on the skin which can be divided into two main groups: congenital or acquired.
What causes them?
Congenital spots are present at birth or develop in early childhood; they are moles or melanocytic nevi. Acquired spots generally appear in adulthood, usually in the form of so-called “liver spots” (age spots) caused by UV light, and melasma which can becaused by hormonal factors.
To prevent dark spots it is essential to protect skin from UV exposure by using high sun protection filters. This is the most effective way to prevent photoaging and the appearance dark spots. There are different treatments and procedures which are effective in fading or eliminating dark spots. They are usually accompanied by topical pigment correction products and high SPF. Neoretin Discrom Control el is a Pigment-Control Regimen that combines RetinSphere® Technology with a system of powerful actives (including Kojic acid, brightening peptides and Niacinamide) which act on melanin, thus ensuring optimal pigment control. Apply to the face in the evening once weekly or as recommended by your skin care professional, gently massaging with a circular movement for one minute.
