USEFUL INFORMATION REGARDING THE MAIN INGREDIENTS:
Inositol
Myo-lnositol (MI) is the most important form of Inositol found in nature. The most studied form which has been shown to be involved in numerous biologic processes is D-Chiro-lnositoI (DCI).
In humans, DCI cannot be synthetized from precursors, but rather obtained from the conversion of MI: this explains the synergic action of these two forms in controlling sugar, fats and, also, ovulation.
Folic Acid
Contributes to:
· maternal tissue growth during pregnancy;
· normal amino acid synthesis;
· normal blood formation;
· normal homocysteine metabolism;
· normal immune system functioning;
· normal psychological function.
Folic acid also helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and plays a role in cell division. A reduced folate level in pregnant women is a risk factor for the development of fetal neural tube malformations. The ingestion of Folic Acid supplements increases folate levels in pregnant women. In women of fertile age this beneficial effect is obtained through the daily ingestion of a 400 μg Folic Acid supplement for at least 1 month before, and 3 months after conception.
Manganese
Important micronutrient which contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue, normal energy-yielding metabolism, maintenance of normal bones and protection of cells from oxidative stress.
USE: Recommended daily intake is 1 sachet. Dilute the contents of the sachet in a glass of water and drink it.
