What is skin aging?

Skin aging is a physiological process caused by intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic aging is related to the passing of time: the activity of our skin cells slows and their rate of renewal diminishes. Fibroblasts, which are responsible for synthesising the fundamental components of the skin, are similarly affected. Extrinsic elements, such as free radicals, environmental stress factors (tobacco smoke, heavy metals, particulate matter, etc.) and sun exposure accelerate cellular deterioration, causing photo or extrinsic aging. Dermal support structures which ensure skin firmness and elasticity are thus diminished.

What is ENDOCARE?

ENDOCARE Technologies:

- SCA® Growth Factor Technology: Technology rich in growth factors which activate fibroblasts. It is obtained from the secretion of the gasteropod Cryptomphalus aspersa, a powerful natural source that helps to regenerate the skin by providing antioxidant properties. It visibly reduces wrinkles and restores skin elasticity.

- SCA® LOOP effect: SCA® growth factors help reactivate fibroblasts and keratinocytes, thus promoting cellular rejuvenation. This scientifically-demonstrated LOOP effect sets off an exponential chain reaction which reactivates the skin’s essential cells: fibroblasts (source of collagen and elastin) and keratinocytes (ensure optimal epidermal functioning). In this way, cells regain their youthful characteristics and activity.

- EDAFENCE® Technology: A standardized extract of the plant Deschampsia antarctica which helps strengthen the skin’s barrier and protect against the aging effects of pollution (tobacco smoke, heavy metals, particulate matter, etc.), UV radiation, blue light, free radicals and other environmental stress factors.

- IFC®CAF Cellular Activation Factor: Technology that contributes to the activation of skin cells to stimulate the production of young skin cells. It stimulates production of collagen, elastin and other structural components which are responsible for firmness, elasticity and smoothness.

- Wharton Gel Complex®: Technology that creates the optimal environment for the regeneration of cells by acting on the components of the extracellular matrix (collagen, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid, etc.).

- RetinSphere® Technology: An innovative combination of retinoids which stimulates epidermal renewal and enhances penetration of actives. It improves skin texture and luminosity, smoothing and evening skin tone.

Treatment protocols:

As with all dermatological or aesthetic treatments and procedures, best results can be obtained by beginning with an intensive treatment (ampoules/concentrate), followed by a daily progressive regeneration program (serum, creams, gels). Intensive treatment should subsequently be periodically repeated to ensure continuous skin improvement. Clinical trials have demonstrated that Endocare anti-aging regimens can visibly reduce lines and wrinkles, increase firmness and elasticity, and provide moisture and brightness, making skin appear healthier and more youthful.
